Grasshoppers bags FCm Travel Solutions’ business

The size of the business is estimated to be Rs 1 crore

Following a multi-agency pitch, Grasshoppers has bagged the creative and media duties for FCm Travel Solutions. The size of the business is estimated in the range of Rs 1 crore.

Speaking to agencyfaqs!, Sankalp Garg, head of India marketing and business strategies, FCm Travel Solutions, says, “FCm, which was a corporate travel agency till date, now plans to venture into the retail sector. This is why we felt the need for an advertising agency that would help us fulfil our communication objective.”

Garg adds, “Since our budget is not very high, we were consciously looking for a mid-sized agency. We decided to award the business to Grasshoppers because its strategies fit the brand perfectly.”

To begin with, the media mix for the campaign will include only print, covering newspapers and business magazines. Once the company sets foot in the retail sector, the brand communications will also encompass television and other electronic media vehicles.

Arjun Banerjee, CEO, Grasshoppers, says, “FCm Travel Solutions has recently won the ICMA awards in London. Therefore, initially, the brand communication will highlight this achievement of the company.”

For the record, FCm Travel Solutions is a corporate travel management specialist, with around 16 branches in India. FCm Travel Solutions provides an extensive worldwide network of local expertise, services and solutions.
