Enterprise Nexus’ Manish Jani joins Triton

Enterprise Nexus’ director, client services, has joined Triton, Mumbai, as group account director, Eureka Forbes

Manish Jani, director, client services, Enterprise Nexus, Mumbai, has put in his papers. He will join Triton, Mumbai, as group account director on the Eureka Forbes business. He has replaced Rajesh Puri, who moved recently to Contract. Jani will report to Vinay Kanchan, Triton’s vice-president in Mumbai. He will work on all the sub-brands from the Eureka Forbes stable, including Aquaguard, Eurovigil, Euroclean and E-initiative (Eureka Forbes’ environmental initiative).

Confirming this development to agencyfaqs!, Jani says, “With the formation of Bates Enterprise, the agency underwent certain changes such as a different psyche and way of operating. I just felt it was time for me to move on. Besides, I will get to handle one of Triton’s biggest brands, Eureka Forbes, which I am looking forward to.”

At Enterprise Nexus, Jani was working on ENIL, Toshiba, In Orbit Mall and Neelkamal Plastics.

Jani started his career with Percept H (then Percept Advertising) in 1993. He spent close to four and a half years there. At Percept, he worked on Godrej Office Furniture, Crown TV and Wonder Masala.

He then moved on to Quadrant, where he handled the Videocon Group brands such as Videocon, Sansui and Kenstar. Five years later, he joined Enterprise Nexus.

According to Jani, his most memorable achievement was his work on Godrej Office Furniture while at Percept. “Most furniture brands were focusing on design and upholstery at that time,” he says. “We decided to position our ad on the health platform. People sit in their offices for hours on end, which results in back sprains.”

So, Jani and his team decided to highlight the product features that Godrej chairs helped in alleviating back pain and that they were body friendly. “And the campaign worked for the client,” recalls Jani.
