Rediff’s Sujay Nanavati joins Percept/ H as AV-P, strategic planning

Nanavati was general manager, strategic planning, at Rediffusion DY&R

Sujay Nanavati has been appointed as assistant vice-president, strategic planning for Percept/ H. Prior to this, he was general manager, strategic planning for Rediffusion DY&R.

“Better exposure, great industry stalwarts and a good client base,” are the reasons that Nanavati cites for this career move. Canon, Electrolux, Hero Honda and Future Group are some of the brands he will handle at Percept/ H.

Nanavati, a BCom graduate who went on to do his MBA from the University of Mumbai, started his career in 1998 with Elbee Services as management trainee. From here, he moved to Renoir Consulting (in 2000), where he worked with Tata Steel, ITC (both the tobacco division and e-choupal), Tata International and a host of other businesses.

In 2003, Nanavati joined Yellow, a firm that specialises in brand strategy and design, as business head. At Yellow, he handled brands such as Dabur International, P&G, Britannia, UB Group and Sara Lee International.

Nanavati has been with Rediffusion DY&R since 2005. He was responsible for the planning function for brands such as Tata Sky, Tata Motors, DNA, Franklin Templeton, Citigroup Wealth Associates.
