"It's the young, energetic team of Rediffusion Y&R that attracted me the most. I'm really excited to work with brilliant partners like Mahesh Chauhan, Arvind Mohan and Paritosh. My focus here will be on developing powerful ideas and managing their delivery (consumer engagement) across relevant contexts, such that they acquire the energy to substantially move the needle for brands, the agency and for all stakeholders involved," states Roy.
Immediate assignments for him would be to plan for key brands such as ING, United Spirits Limited, ITC, Titan and Arrow.

Speaking about Roy's appointment, Arvind Mohan, chief strategy officer, Rediffusion Y&R, says, "South is a very important market for us. So, we needed to invest in the right candidate. Rahul has rich experience, both national and international, which will be of great help to our agency. Furthermore, we see a great leader in him. Growth and consolidation will be his sole responsibilities."
