Rediffusion's Red Lab report has released a curated list of social media trends. The report encapsulates the larger trends seen on social media over the course of the last year.

Among the top trends were using social media for social causes. Back to school and back to office were topics of interest and discussion and more than 30 million rural Indian users gained access to the internet.
