O&M India's Kunal Sinha awarded Atticus

Kunal Sinha, vice-president – Discovery, O&M India, has been awarded a Highly Commended Certificate at this year’s Annual Atticus Awards

Kunal Sinha, vice-president - Discovery, O&M India, has been awarded a Highly Commended Certificate at this year's Annual Atticus Awards, handed out by the WPP Group plc. Sinha won this award for his paper ‘Ogyani - Knowledge, Entertainment, Networking', which describes Ogilvy's knowledge management initiative in India over the last two years. The Atticus Awards are given for original thinking in marketing services and are open to all WPP employees worldwide.

As per an Ogilvy press release, this year's Grand Prix was awarded to Victoria Kudirka and Jason Greenwood of Young & Rubicam Advertising, Irvine, California, for their entry ‘The New Face of Luxury'. The press note also stated that Ogilvy employees picked up nine awards this year - the most for any agency in the WPP network - including a winner in the Market Research category. Y&R won seven awards. The entries for this year's Atticus were judged by Ann Moore, chairman & CEO, Time Inc, William Lewis, business editor, The Sunday Times, and Judie Lannon, editor, Market Leader.

Incidentally, this is the third time Sinha has claimed an Atticus. His first Atticus was a Grand Prix in 1996, which he followed up with a Highly Commended Certificate the next year. © 2004 agencyfaqs!
