Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola light up their best work for the Year of the Tiger

The Chinese new year gave us some fascinating ads from brands.

With the last two years testing out resolve, we must remain strong and brave like a tiger. If you’re in China, you’d smile at this line because it is the ‘Year of the Tiger’; the Chinese new year is here.

China and many Asian nations follow a lunar than a solar calendar so the new Lunar New Year falls on a different day on the Georgian Calendar. What is interesting to know is the relevance of animals in the Chinese calendar. It follows a 12-year cycle and each year is attributed to an animal. 2022 is the year of the tiger.

It is the biggest celebratory period in China and like its people who dine and wish for the good times, brands too join the revelry. Here are some of the best work we’ve seen:
