The event felicitated the Gurus of Marathi Entertainment, and showcased an eclectic blend of performances which the Shishyas, presented as tributes to their Gurus.

The show opened with Nandi Naman, following which Shishya Shankar Mahadevan performed legendary songs taught by his guru Shrinivas Khale. Guru Purushottam Berde's Shishyas presented acts from the superhit plays Toor Toor and Jaubai Jorat. Guru Taufiq Qureishi performed Jugalbandi with his Shishya, while Shreyas Talpade performed and introduced his Gurus Arun Ranzankar and MukeshJadhav.

With top-notch direction and choreography, the show was a full-blown entertainment event as well as a touching tribute to the legendary teachers who have left indelible marks on the Marathi art and culture scene, in the form of their Shishyas' enduring talents.
