Rediff Mobile will offer search for caller ringback tunes across all operators
In a first, Rediff.com has launched a search for Caller Ringback Tunes on its portal. Caller ringback tones are those that are heard by the caller when the phone is ringing. The search can be done across operators comprising Airtel, BPL Mobile, Hutch, Idea and Reliance Mobile.
The search can also be carried out based on keywords like singer, artist or movie, or music categories like Bollywood Hits, Classical and Devotional. Once the user has selected the ringback tone, he can download it through SMS or calling on voice portal. The costs vary across operators.
Rediff.com has a bank of 60,000 ringtones and ringback tones. It also provides a ringtone search. Rediff Mobile also offers download of mobile applications, themes, wallpapers, picture messages and information services like news, cricket, jokes and astrology.
It also offers a WAP portal with access to news, fare search, Rediffmail, Rediff Bol, Newshound and Mobile Zone.
