Planetradiocity.com establishes live internet radio, 'Fun Ka Antenna'

Planetradiocity.com has launched its internet radio, 'Fun Ka Antenna'. With uninterrupted streaming, the potpourri of music genres available includes film, non film, Sufi, ghazals, lounge and international tracks, along with current and retro hits. Fun Ka Antenna has been designed keeping Indian audiences across the globe in mind.

Targeting the youth, the internet radio will also feature independent shows focused on World, Pop, Electronic 'n Dance. Also, theme-based music sets will be prepared, where RJ hosted shows, dedication based shows and radio series will be delivered by a traditional radio station in a modern avatar.

Apurva Purohit, CEO, Radio City speaks about the launch of Fun Ka Antenna. "We are going to play a smorgasbord of music in a striking manner. We have ensured that multi-music options are available with a superior bandwidth and high-class technology with an interface, which is simpler and user friendly. We do not see much competition now, except for iPods. Our logic is simple: we want to bring the entertainment on the desktop."

'Fun Ka Antenna' does not require any time-consuming downloads, registration or subscription, and can be accessed over a 128kbps connection. As per the figures gathered, the listenership of the radio has reached around 1 million; the station has targeted a listenership of 9-10 million.

The list of programmes on Fun Ka Antenna includes: Fundoo Duniya Fultoo Facts, Soul Lounge, Locker Room, Wild Wild West, Dedication Top 10 and Chill Om Urban Sessions.
