While TME will be responsible for the conventional media, Neo@Ogilvy and Clear Channel will handle the digital and outdoor media, respectively
Yahoo! India has divided its media duties among The Media Edge (TME), Neo@Ogilvy and Clear Channel. While TME will be responsible for the conventional media, Neo@Ogilvy and Clear Channel will handle the digital and outdoor media, respectively.
This is the first time that Yahoo! India has hired specialised media agencies for different media. Prior to this, all of the media duties for Yahoo! India was handled by Canco Advertising.
According to an official communiqué, the agencies were selected on the basis of their understanding of the brand’s requirements. The communiqué also said that these agencies demonstrated the level of involvement that Yahoo! India was seeking.
For the record, Yahoo! India had reviewed its media duties early this year. The creative duties continue to be with DBW, which has been handling it for the last four years.
