Patrick Stahle appointed CEO, Aegis Media, Asia Pacific

Stahle has been acting CEO of Aegis Media, Asia Pacific, since July 2006 and he brings with him 20 years of experience

Patrick Stahle, acting CEO, Aegis Media, Asia Pacific, has now been formally inducted into the system. As chief executive officer for Aegis Media, Asia Pacific, Stahle will be responsible for growing the group’s business in the region by foraying into untapped areas.

Commenting on this development, Mainardo de Nardis, global CEO, Aegis Media, says, “The pace of change and growth in the markets in the Asia Pacific is suited for someone such as Patrick. With the amount of time he has spent in the communication industry, his understanding of this market is in-depth and comprehensive. We believe he will take Aegis Media to the next stage of development in the region.”

Stahle started his career as a helicopter pilot in Australia and the North Sea and later moved on to a career in media and marketing services. He has 20 years of experience in all in this field. He has been the chief executive officer of Aegis Media in Sweden from 1999 to 2000, and Aegis Media Nordics (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) since 2002. He has also worked at BBDO in pay TV and in a digital start-up.

Stahle remarks, “My challenge here will be to utilise our capabilities to the fullest and tap into the infinite potential in these Asia Pacific markets.”

To support large local and multinational clients and prospects in the region, Aegis Media has made two further changes in the Asia-Pacific. Carat Hong Kong and Carat Singapore will now be developed as new regional hubs and a business development team led by Rob Kabus has been established for the purpose. Kabus and other key members of the team will report directly to Stahle.
