Carat appoints head for North and East

Carat Media Services India has announced the appointment of Vidhu Sagar as its head for the North and East regions. This follows the appointment of Radhesh Uchil, who joined the agency as head of West and South India late last year.

Sagar was earlier marketing head for Business Today. In his new role, he will be responsible for running all of Carat Media Services’ operations in these two regions.

Sagar has been in the media planning and buying business for many years; he returns to the industry after stints in the advertising and publishing industries. An MBA from IMT Ghaziabad, he began his career in media planning with Everest Advertising, Rediffusion’s second agency. He has worked with the JWT Group and the McCann network in the arena of brand management. Sagar has also spent six years with Draft-FCB-Ulka.
