Challenges to the Zee-Sony merger have been transferred to a third bench in under a month, providing legal clarity for the creation of a $10-billion media giant in India.

It has challenged the NCLT's August 10 approval for the merger.

The case pertains to the lender's appeal against the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) order in its plea to recover Rs 149.6 crore.
