2nd Annual Vijay TV awards Celebrities lent glamour to the gala

2nd Annual Vijay Televison awards which was was a star-studded evening Held last week at the Nehru Indoor Stadium. The function was attended by an ardent audience of more than 7000 who saw their favorite start being felicitated.

Vijay TV caters to a Tamil audience and its diverse innovative non-fiction and fiction shows such as Athu Idhu Yethu, Connexion, Naduvula Konjam Disturb Pannuvom, Airtel Super Singer, Kalakkapovathu Yaaru encourages talent that have helped it garner a huge fan base world wide.

The award function opened with a solo dance performance by Meghna of 'Deivam Thantha Veedu', followed by Saravanan Meenakshi pair of the previous season Senthil and Sreeja

The popular faces of Vijay TV's fiction Kuyili, Sadhana, Lakshmi, Kanya the mother in laws across various soaps shook their legs to racy numbers as they showed that they were on par with the young talent on display . The event was hosted by multiple anchors - Bhavna, Ma.Ka.Pa. Anand, Jegan, Kavin and Priya.

The event in its second year saw the addition of many more categories especially in the fiction genre which reflected the strides the channel had made.

Directors K.S. Ravikumar, K.V. Anand, Parthiban, Ramky, Nirosha, Pandiarajan, Ishwarya, Madhumitha, Gayathri, Saya Singh several other celebrities graced the occasion. The sheer display of talent showed the immense growth which Vijay TV has garnered in the last 20 years.
