MUMBAI, March 28

Ogilvy & Mather, India, has made some senior level changes at OgilvyOne, its direct marketing and digital services arm. This restructuring follows the exit of Renuka Jaypal from OgilvyOne (she was president, OgilvyOne, India, and national business director, telecom, OgilvyOne, Mumbai, before recently moving on to Ogilvy, Indonesia, as chairperson).

Kaizad Pardiwalla, vice-president, OgilvyOne, Mumbai, has been elevated as president, OgilvyOne, India, thus filling Jaypal’s shoes. Meanwhile Prasanth Mohanachandran, vice-president, Neo@Ogilvy, and V-P, digital services, has been made the executive director of the two respective verticals.

Both appointments will be effective from May 15, 2007.

Pardiwalla started his career with Lowe in 1995 and moved to Ogilvy & Mather in 1997. In early 2004, he moved to OgilvyOne as business director heading the operations of the western region. He has worked on various brands across categories and audiences, and has particularly helped to grow the digital and health-care functions.

Under his leadership, OgilvyOne, Mumbai, has built for itself a portfolio of brands with companies such as Unilever, Cadbury, ICICI Bank, Balsara Hygiene, UTI Bank, DHL, CISCO, Hutch, Reader’s Digest, Reliance Capital, Walt Disney, Tata Motors, J&J Medical, Nicholas Piramal and Pfizer.

Prasanth Mohanachandran is actively involved in evangelising the agency and its clients on the benefits of the digital medium. He was among those who launched the Indian operations of Neo@Ogilvy over a year ago. Prasanth has spent the past 14 years of his working career in many avatars; he has helped develop software solutions and manage projects for CMC Ltd, Glare Software and DBS Internet. Prior to joining Ogilvy, he was a founder director and CTO of eDeltaC Communications, the online marketing agency that merged into Ogilvy Interactive in January 2002.
