Ashish Khazanchi quits Rediffusion DY&R

Khazanchi was executive creative director at Rediffusion, where he has been for the last three years. His next destination is not known

Ashish Khazanchi, executive creative director, Rediffusion DY&R, is on his way out. Today is his last day at Rediff.

Khazanchi has completed three years at Rediffusion, and jokingly says “boredom” is the reason for his decision. Khazanchi is yet to decide on his next assignment. However, he confirmed to agencyfaqs! that he will continue in advertising.

During his three years at Rediff, Khazanchi was instrumental in launching brands such as Tata Sky and ‘Daily News & Analysis’ (‘DNA’), apart from working on IndianOil and Sugar Free. His Tata Sky campaigns, based on the thought, ‘Isko Laga Daala Toh Life Jhingalala’, enjoyed high media visibility. He was also behind the Hrithik Roshan commercials for Tata Sky.

Prior to Rediff, Khazanchi has done stints with O&M, McCann-Erickson and Publicis India, and he brings with him total work experience of around 14 years. When at O&M (for around four years), Khazanchi worked on Seagram’s, Kelvinator and the Pulse Polio campaigns. At McCann-Erickson, he worked for a year on Nescafe and Gillette.

He was at Publicis India for about two years, and handled Tata Agni and Maggi while there.
