Ingersoll-Rand (India) initiates multi-agency pitch for its creative account

This is the first time the company is scouting for creative partners in India.

Ingersoll-Rand (India), an industrial enterprise, is scouting for a creative partner in India, in an effort to expand its presence across the country and create a recall among its consumers.

It has been learnt that the company is also planning to venture into the consumer space in the next couple of years and intends to work on the corporate brand building exercise.

Ingersoll-Rand will also pitch for its media mandate soon, once the creative pitch is over. The size of the media account is estimated to be Rs 6-8 crore.

According to the sources, a multi-agency pitch, initiated in January, is in its last stages, and the company is almost on the verge of finalising the agency. However, Ingersoll-Rand officials were unavailable for comment.

This is the first time that the company is scouting for a creative partner in the country.

Ingersoll-Rand, present in India since 1921, has products ranging from complete compressed air systems, tools, and pumps, to material and fluid handling systems. The product line provides services and solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency and operations of its customers.

The company, which has offices in the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal is also listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
