In Bengaluru, Red FM moves up a place to No. 6

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 40 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17.5 per cent; while its average market share for the last four weeks is 17.4 per cent.

It is followed by Radio City, which has surged ahead of Red FM this week. Radio City has a market share of 13.5 per cent; while Red FM has 13.2 per cent.

Big FM is at No. 4, with a market share of 11.8 per cent, the same as the last two weeks. Its last four weeks' average market share is also 11.8 per cent.

AIR FM Gold is at No. 5 with a market share of 11.6 per cent. It is followed by Fever FM, with a market share of 11.2 per cent, the same as last week.

Radio One is at No. 7, with a market share of 6.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 percentage point. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow with a market share of 5.5 per cent.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 40 are Vividh Bharati (4.1 per cent market share), Oye! FM and Akashvani Mumbai (2.5 per cent each).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 24.2 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.6 per cent.

At No. 2, Fever FM has a market share of 18.2 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Gold, which has a market share of 17.3 per cent.

Red FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 9.1 per cent; while Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.9 per cent.

Big FM is at No. 6 with a market share of 7.5 per cent, the same as last week. It is followed by Radio One with a market share of 5.4 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage point in comparison to Week 39.

Among the other stations in Delhi in Week 40 is Oye! FM, which has a market share of 3.2 per cent. It is followed by AIR FM Rainbow (2.1 per cent), Hit FM and Vividh Bharati (1.7 per cent) and AIR Akashvani (0.6 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM leads in the city with a market share of 19.5 per cent; which is the same as its last four weeks' average market share.

At No. 2, Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.8 per cent, which is also the same as its last four weeks' average market share.

Fever FM is at No. 3, with a market share of 15.6 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 15.5 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.8 per cent, the same as last week. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.7 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow is at No. 5 with a market share of 9.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage point. Its last four weeks' average market share is 9.5 per cent.

Red FM has moved up a place to No. 6 with a market share of 8.4 per cent, gaining 0.3 percentage point. Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 8.3 per cent, registering a loss of 0.4 percentage point.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 40 is Vividh Bharati, with a market share of 4.9 per cent; followed by Radio Indigo (2.6 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.6 per cent) and Akashvani (0.2 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage point over the previous week.

Big FM and Friends FM are at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Big FM has a market share of 17.9 per cent, the same as last week. Friends FM has a market share of 11.3 per cent, with a gain of 0.3 percentage point over Week 39. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.8 per cent, which is the same as its last four weeks' average market share.

Fever FM has maintained its last week's No. 5 position, with a market share of 8.8 per cent. Red FM is at No. 6 with a market share of 8.5 per cent.

Radio One is at No. 7 with a market share of 6.4 per cent; followed by Oye! FM, which has a market share of 4.2 per cent, with a gain of 0.4 percentage point.

This week, among other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.5 per cent; followed by AIR FM Gold (3.2 per cent), Akashvani (2.6 per cent), Power FM (1.5 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.5 per cent).
