About 1,000 Tabcab taxis offer high visibility with engagement and mass reach in Mumbai. Tata Salt Lite, Tata I Shakti Daal and Regus have already launched campaigns on the medium.
Tabcab, the radio taxi service in Mumbai with a license to operate 4,000 cabs tendered by Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Transport Authority (MMRTA), has started taxi ads service to tap into this demand in the market.
Along with display of creatives on the boot and the four doors, Tabcab has installed mobile tablets in its cabs for in-cab entertainment. These tablets run on 3G network and deliver spots, banner ads, brand apps, brand games, research interface and microsite integration opportunities for advertisers in a captive environment. The tablet offers high engagement point and reach for passengers, who find it interesting because of entertainment and live content, which includes latest English and Hindi movies, songs, promos, videos, news and search.
Currently, Tabcab runs 1,000 cabs in Mumbai. Brands such as Tata Salt Lite, Tata I Shakti Daal and Regus have initiated campaigns on the medium. The creatives are displayed on the boot and the four doors of the cabs.
The creatives for Tata Salt Lite and Tata I Shakti Daal were done by Akshar Advertising Solutions, while that of Regus was done by Mediate Media.
Tabcab is in contact with all large and small brands in all categories, either directly or through the media and outdoor agencies, for advertisements.
