Coca-Cola India wins Silver at Globes Award in Miami

The Marketing Agencies Awards (The Globes) recognises the highest standards of marketing communications

Coca-Cola India's interactive website, www.myenjoyzone.com, has been awarded Silver at the Globes Award in Miami (USA) for The Best Use of Interactive Media. Coca-Cola India was the only Indian company to have won an award in this category.

In fact, myenjoyzone.com had won a Gold in the same category (The Best Use of Interactive Media) at the Promotion Marketing Awards of Asia held in Singapore earlier this year. Also, the website had won Silver for the Best New Media at the 2003 Abbey Awards in India.

The Marketing Agencies Awards (The Globes) recognises the highest standards of marketing communications. The programme, established in 2000, is the industry's international recognition programme for the world's most outstanding marketing campaign, says a Coca-Cola release.

At the awards, campaigns are screened on the basis of creativity, originality, execution and results. Each campaign is evaluated by a team of senior-level marketing professionals representing client companies, agencies and the media from around the world.

Going by the number of laurels myenjoyzone.com has already received, the company's strategy to use digital marketing as an integral marketing tool has proven to be consistently effective. Myenjoyzone currently has a registered user base of over 300,000 users and registers a whopping 15 million hits, the company release adds.
