Vyas Giannetti Creative wins Hinduja Group account

The Hinduja Group has a diverse business portfolio ranging from heavy commercial vehicles, finance, media & entertainment to healthcare and lubricants

The Hinduja Group has signed on Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) for its corporate communication exercise. Though the size of the account is not known, executives at VGC say that it will easily be a high double-digit figure.

The Hinduja Group has a diverse business portfolio ranging from heavy commercial vehicles, finance, media & entertainment to healthcare and lubricants.

Enumerating on the task at hand, Atul Hegde, vice-president, VGC, says, “As a first step, VGC is working on a brand identity programme for the entire group. This programme will ensure that the Hinduja brand name is leveraged across all the group companies.”

Hegde explains that since the association of companies such as Ashok Leyland, Gulf Oil, IndusInd Bank with the Hinduja Group is low, the immediate task is to correct that perception. “Our first task is to set this right. Once we achieve this, we will look at a series of activities to build the Hinduja brand.”

Talking on behalf of the Hinduja Group, Sharmila Banerjee, vice-president, corporate communication, says, “The task for VGC is to create a common unifying group identity that will cut across all our companies and bring them under one umbrella. This will help us leverage the Hinduja brand equity across the group.” © 2005 agencyfaqs!
