The pitch, which happened in early May 2006, had three or four agencies in the fray, including Percept H, Bean Bag and Foundation Advertising. Triton, Delhi, was the incumbent agency for the business. The size of the account is around Rs 3-4 crore.
Commenting on the win, Asheesh Sethi, president, Noshe Oceanic, says, "We won the account because of the genuineness in our presentation and our deeper understanding of the client's business. We will completely reposition the brand with its target audience spanning across a wide section of categories."
Bobby Padam, brand manager, Allen Cooper, says, "We are mainly into the export and manufacturing of leather goods in India. While other agencies portrayed us as a fashion house in their presentations, Noshe Oceanic was very much in line with our core business traits."
The media mix for Allen Cooper will consist mainly of promotional events, print, outdoor advertising and below-the-line-activities.
