PDM India, a
Percept Holdings company, has launched a new division called PDM-Entertainment. This division will focus on building new properties in the entertainment arena - cinema, theatre, music and live events - while supporting the brand activation team.
The entertainment division will be headed by Aman Anand, who has previously handled events such as music, live concerts and cinema and TV properties such as Channel [V] Music Awards, Coke [V] Live Concert, Femina Miss India, MTV Music Forum, Brand Equity Quiz, and MTV AIDS Awareness Concert.
PDM India started operation in 1994 as an experiential brand marketing company handling marketing and management of events, sports and celebrities. It leads in five core domains, sports management, fashion and entertainment management, celebrity management, wedding management and brand activation.
Says Shailendra Singh, joint managing director, Percept Holdings, "Even in the past, PDM has created successful properties. This move will cater to entertainment related events and bring a focused and concentrated approach to the ideas and concepts generated by PDM."
PDM-Entertainment expertise entails a combination of TV production and direction, new technology ideation, musicals, international concerts and design of entertainment based properties specific to a brand.
Devraj Sanyal, chief operating officer, PDM India, says, "This new division will focus only on the entertainment domain. A specialist team with immense experience in this field will ensure that they create and provide professional support and service to the clients who are part of PDM initiatives."
