Seiger Solutions gets a new CEO

Debraj Tripathi, who quit recently as CEO at Seiger Solutions, the marketing and ad sales outfit of ‘Deccan Chronicle’, is to be replaced by Amit Shukla of Bharti Airtel.

Shukla, who was a vice-president at Airtel, will take on his new responsibilities on August 10.

Shukla has 14 years of work experience in the field of marketing and management. He started his career with Cadila Healthcare in 1993, where he worked for four years. His next destination was the UB Group, which he joined in 1998, and his stint here lasted two years. Shukla was with Bharti Airtel for seven years.

Shukla has studied at IIT Kanpur and IIM Ahmedabad, batch of 1987 and 1989, respectively.

PK Iyer, executive director, ‘Deccan Chronicle’, comments on Shukla’s appointment, “Amit Shukla, with his credible experience, is the right man for the job. His responsibilities by and large will be the same. He will of course contribute his expertise in the best possible way to take Seiger Solutions forward.”

Seiger Solutions will complete a year this September. The company is responsible for the marketing and sales functions of the Deccan Chronicle Group.
