Brijesh Jacob follows Priti Nair to Grey

Jacob has been roped in as executive creative director at Grey Worldwide’s Mumbai office

Following in the footsteps of Priti Nair, who recently moved from Lowe to Grey Worldwide as national creative director, Lowe’s Brijesh Jacob has joined Grey as executive creative director in the domestic market

Jacob will report to Nair and operate as head of creative duties in Mumbai. His responsibilities include shaping a creative culture that will focus on meeting client needs with solutions. Jishnu Sen, senior vice-president, Grey Group, Mumbai, says, “Brijesh adds to Grey’s vision of strengthening its creative offering. He is immensely talented, extremely hungry and a real fun guy. Exactly the partner I need to build Grey Mumbai into an exciting advertising destination.”

Says Nair, “Like all good creative directors, his cache of awards is impressive, with metals at Asia Pac Adfest, Promax and Outdoor Awards, and shortlists at Cannes. However, his team-building and leadership skills were most attractive to us. With Brijesh at the helm, you can expect some exciting creative solutions to brand building.”

Jacob has eight years of advertising experience, which includes stints at Saatchi & Saatchi and Rediffusion DY& R. So far, he has handled accounts such as Surf, LG Electronics, Lakme HairNext, Nestle Polo, Bilt Paper, Greenply, Carlsberg and Havells.

Says Jacob, “Grey has been in the news of late and that, too, for the correct reasons. And it feels awesome to be part of such a place. The fact that Priti’s joined as NCD made the decision a no-brainer. So, for sure, I’m looking forward to working with the teams and dealing with the challenges and opportunities that Grey will offer. I’m hoping and wishing it will be an exciting journey together – as a team, as a branch and as an agency.”
