NDTV Media restructures its senior management

Neeraj Dutt has been elevated to chief operating officer from executive vice-president and Avinash Kaul, who was senior vice-president, has been promoted to executive vice-president

NDTV Media has elevated Neeraj Dutt as its chief operating officer. Dutt was earlier executive vice-president at the company. In his new role, he will be responsible for looking after the company’s overseas operations and also carry on with his earlier responsibilities of looking after new business development and the digital business.

Avinash Kaul, who was senior vice-president, has been promoted to executive vice-president. Kaul will be responsible for new business development, strategy and research.

Other elevations include Vikas Khanchandani, Rohit Gopakumar and Hemant Arora, all of whom have been made senior vice-presidents. Khanchandani will head the ad sales operation for the group’s channels, including NDTV 24x7 and Nick. Gopakumar will look after the sales operations for NDTV Profit and NDTV’s event division, NDTV Media Live. Arora will be responsible for looking after the sales operation for NDTV India, Mi Marathi and the verticals.

The mid-level promotions include that of Ron Crasto, who has been made vice-president. Crasto will look after business development. Avani Mehrotra, Anju Thakur, Namrata Tata, KR Pavithra and Harsh Bhandari have been made associate vice-presidents with regional responsibilities. Aishwarya Hulyalkar has been made assistant vice-president, marketing. All these people were earlier senior managers.
