Two GroupM executives join Surewaves

Sanchit Sanga and Shashank Gawade of GroupM have joined SureWaves

new generation media convergence company, has brought on board Sanchit Sanga and Shashank Gawade, both of whom were earlier with GroupM. Sanga and Gawade will report to vice-president Tushar Vyas. SureWaves is a group company of the Bangalore based IndusEdge Innovations

Sanchit Sanga
Sanga, who will be associate vice-president, business solutions, at SureWaves, was earlier national director at GroupM Interactions, the digital media planning and buying arm of GroupM India. At SureWaves, Sanga will be a part of the team developing a business solutions vertical. He joined GroupM in 2002 and started the Delhi office of the media agency's digital unit. He has worked on digital media strategies for many lead brands. Prior to GroupM, Sanga was with Intercept Consulting as a regional manager. He holds an MBA from Symbiosis Institute.

Shashank Gawade
Gawade joins SureWaves as a group business manager. He will focus on developing affiliate partnerships with out of home players and retail companies. He was a business director at GroupM's Dialect division, handling strategic solutions in retail, trade, cinema and micro marketing. Prior to this, he worked with Businessworld in advertising sales. Gawade holds an MMS from Mumbai University.
