Sunil Lulla joins Alva Brothers as group CEO and director

Sunil Lulla, chief executive officer of Times Global Broadcasting, who quit recently, will join Alva Brothers as group CEO and director of three of the group’s companies. These include the holding company of Alva Brothers, production arm Miditech and the joint venture with Turner International, which will soon launch a general entertainment broadcasting network.

Lulla will move into his new post on March 1.

Lulla holds a Master’s degree in management studies from the SP Jain Institute and has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and general management. He has been with Times Now since its inception in 2005. Prior to that, he worked with Sony Entertainment Television (SET) India as executive vice-president. Some of the other organisations he has worked with are Valuebridge, a consultancy business set up by venture capital firm AtIndia and advertising agency JWT (then HTA), Indya.com, United Distillers and Vintners, MTV India and JWT Taiwan.
