R Sundar appointed CEO of Times Business Solutions Ltd

R Sundar has been appointed CEO and Rajeev Gaur COO of Times Business Solutions, which has now been constituted as a separate company within the Times Group

Times Internet Ltd has spun off its classifieds unit, Times Business Solutions, as a separate company. R Sundar has been appointed chief executive officer of the spun off company, Times Business Solutions Ltd (TBSL), and Rajeev Gaur has been appointed chief operating officer.

Sundar has been serving as president of the division and has been associated with the Times Group for 27 years. At the Times Group, Sundar has worked across various domains such as sales, publishing, brand management and the Internet division. He also holds the position of director at the Times School of Management (TSM) and the Times Centre for Media Studies (TCMS).

Gaur has been associated with the Times Group for more than two decades and was responsible for the launch of various Times Group initiatives online.

According to the company’s statement, TBSL will be a “life interactive” arm of the Times Group, assisting people in choosing their jobs, real estate and life partners. More initiatives are expected to be announced soon.

TBSL runs various Internet properties: TimesJobs.com, an online job portal; MagicBricks.com, a real estate portal; SimplyMarry.com, a matrimonial site; and Ads2Book.com, a classifieds booking site.
