Percept/H awarded creative duties for Yardley and Finesse

Yardley and Finesse have entered the Indian market for the first time and are essentially targeting the Southern region

Percept/H has bagged the creative duties for Yardley and Finesse, both brands from the Lornamead Group. The Yardley range of products includes soaps, deodorants, talcum powders and shower creams, while the Finesse range of products includes shampoos and conditioners.

Percept/H was a part of the pitch process which involved two other top advertising agencies. The media duties will be handled by Zenith Optimedia, which is a part of the Publicis Group. The size of the business is estimated to be Rs 10-12 crore.

Ajay Verma, senior vice-president, Percept/H, says, “We are going to focus on the South and that is going to remain our priority market. We are going to have a fully integrated marketing campaign for the brand.”

Rohit Gothi, country director, Lornamead, says, “The brand is going to get a new and fresh look.” He adds, “Brand centricity and longterm vision are of paramount importance to our key brands, Yardley and Finesse, which operate in fairly competitive segments. It's not only creative excellence, but strategic capabilities, too, which are critical for gaining market share in categories like soaps, shampoos and deodorants and Percept fulfilled all these objectives.”

The Lornamead Group is a global marketer of quality home and personal care products. It was established in 1978 and has more than 30 brands which are distributed in more than 50 countries. It is headquartered in the UK.
