Anurag Bedi promoted as business head of three Zee channels

Bedi has been with Zee since February 2007 and will also continue to be vice-president, sales, Zee Muzic and ETC Music, as he was before this promotion

Anurag Bedi has been appointed business head of Zee Muzic, ETC Music and Zee Trendz from January 15. He will be based in Mumbai and report to Joy Chakraborthy, chief revenue officer, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL).

He has been with Zee since February 2007 and will also continue to be vice-president, sales, Zee Muzic and ETC Music, as he was before this promotion.

Bedi replaces Irshwin Balvani, who passed away on December 3, 2008, after a cardiac arrest.

Armed with a degree in nautical science, Bedi has around nine years’ experience in the television industry. He started his career at STAR India, where he spent seven years before moving to ZEEL.

ZEEL has also promoted Lubna Adam and Vishal Malhotra. Adam has been given the additional responsibility of Zee Muzic and ETC Music and is now the creative head of Zee Muzic, ETC Music and Zee Trendz. Earlier, she was creative head of Zee Trendz. She will report to Bedi.

Malhotra, who is director of Corner Shop, will now also head Play TV.
