RAM Week 50: Fever FM and AIR FM fight for second spot in Delhi

In Delhi, the fight is also on between Radio One and Big FM for the seventh place

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for Week 50 for the four RAM markets is out. It is status quo in all the four RAM markets, with Radio Mirchi leading in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, while Big FM is the winner in Bengaluru.

Mumbai

& #BANNER1 & #Radio Mirchi is No.1 in the city, with a market share of 17.1 per cent, not showing any gain or loss in comparison to Week 49. It is followed by Red FM and AIR FM in the second and third spots.

Red FM has a market share of 15.2 per cent, registering a loss of 0.4 percentage points over the previous week. The fight for the No. 3 spot continues in Mumbai, with AIR FM moving up the ladder to dislodge last week's third player, Big FM. AIR FM has garnered a market share of 12.7 per cent.

Both Big FM and Radio City have scored identical market shares of 12.2 per cent each. The next in line is Fever FM, with a market share of 11.9 per cent. Radio One and AIR FM Rainbow have recorded market shares of 6.1 per cent and 5 per cent respectively.

In Week 50, among the other stations in Mumbai, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 3.1 per cent, followed by Meow FM (2.3 per cent) and Akashvani Mumbai (2.2 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi leads with a market share of 24.8 per cent. Both Fever FM and AIR FM Gold have managed identical shares of 17.4 per cent each.

Fever FM has lost 0.4 percentage points in comparison to the previous week, whereas AIR FM Gold, with a market share of 17.4 per cent, gained 1 percentage point in comparison to Week 49.

Red FM occupies the fifth place with a market share of 9.7 per cent. Radio City is sixth in the city with a market share of 8.4 per cent, showing a loss of 0.2 percentage points over Week 49.

The fight for the seventh place is intensifying, with Big FM bouncing back to claim the spot from Radio One with a market share of 6.8 per cent. Radio One has registered a market share of 6.2 per cent.

Among the other stations in Delhi in Week 50 are Meow FM, with a market share of 2.9 per cent, followed by Hit FM (2.4 per cent), AIR FM Rainbow (2.1 per cent), Vividh Bharati (1.7 per cent) and Akashvani Delhi (0.3 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM leads in Bengaluru, followed by Radio Mirchi and Fever FM in the second and third places.

This week, Big FM has a market share of 19.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Radio Mirchi, with a loss of 0.2 percentage points, has managed a market share of 17.6 per cent.

Fever FM occupies the third place with a market share of 15.8 per cent. Radio City occupies the fourth spot with a market share of 12.4 per cent, registering a loss of 0.4 percentage points. AIR FM is fifth in the city, garnering a market share of 9.7 per cent.

Radio One is placed sixth with a market share of 9.5 per cent, showing a gain of 1.3 percentage points over Week 49. Red FM follows, registering a market share of 7.8 per cent and a loss of 0.4 percentage points.

Among the other stations in Bengaluru in Week 50, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 4.5 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.6 per cent) and Akashvani (0.4 per cent).

Kolkata

In Week 50, Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.7 per cent. Big FM and Friends FM are placed second and third respectively.

Big FM has a market share of 16.4 per cent, with a loss of 1 percentage point. Friends FM has garnered a market share of 14.9 per cent, gaining 0.5 percentage points in comparison to Week 49.

Aamar FM occupies the fourth place in the city with a market share of 10.1 per cent. This week, Fever FM has moved up a place to occupy the fifth position with a market share of 7.7 per cent, showing a gain of 0.4 percentage points.

Red FM is placed sixth with a market share of 6.7 per cent and a loss of 0.9 percentage points. Radio One occupies the seventh spot in the city with a market share of 6.1 per cent. It is followed by Meow FM with a market share of 5.8 per cent.

In Week 50, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.8 per cent, followed by AIR FM Gold (2.9 per cent), Akashvani (2.4 per cent), Power FM (1.7 per cent) and Vivid Bharati (0.7 per cent).
