Vizeum kick starts 2010 with new account win

The agency has bagged the business for iPlayUp Cricket, known as Revo Content Services, a mobile entertainment company

Vizeum India has bagged the media duties for iPlayUp Cricket, which is the trading name of Revo Content Services, a mobile entertainment business. Vizeum won the business through a multi agency pitch. The size of the business is pegged at Rs 20 crore.

Revo develops skill games that can be played on mobile and aims to be the first business of its kind aiming to make an entry into the sports, media and entertainment markets. It operates in the UK, Australia and Japan. Recently, it launched its operations in India and plans to make it a global hub for the company.

Katja Voegele, chief executive officer, iPlayUp, says, "In our assessment, we felt Vizeum had the passion, knowledge and ability to make a difference to our brand."

S Yesudas, managing director, Indian sub continent, Vizeum, says, "We will look at making specific and tangible contributions to grow the iPlayUp business in India."

The business will be handled out of Vizeum's Delhi office under the leadership of Harit Pant, general manager, North.

A gaming property called 6UP has been launched by iPlayUp, which is available across all leading telecom operators of the country, enabling users to play cricket centric games on mobiles. The company plans to expand its horizons across continents and look at other sports such as golf, football and baseball in the coming months.
