RAM Week 22: For the leaders, it's status quo in RAM markets

In Delhi, both AIR FM Rainbow and Hit FM have scored identical market shares of 1.7 per cent each

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for the four RAM markets for Week 22 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

& #BANNER1 & #Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17.5 per cent, with a gain of 0.3 percentage points over the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks stands at 17.2 per cent.

The second and third spots in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City respectively.

Red FM has a market share of 14.1 per cent and its last four weeks' market share is 14.2 per cent.

Radio City, placed third, has a market share of 13.3 per cent, gaining 0.2 percentage points over the previous week. The last four weeks' average market share for the radio station is 13.1 per cent.

Big FM occupies the fourth place with a market share of 11.7 per cent and its last four weeks' market share also stands at 11.6 per cent.

Air FM Gold occupies the fifth spot with a market share of 11.4 per cent and a gain of 0.1 percentage points.

Fever FM is No. 6 in the city with a market share of 11 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points. Its last four weeks' market share turns out to be 11.1 per cent.

Radio One is placed seventh with a market share of 6.5 per cent and a gain of 0.4 percentage points. AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 5.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.4 percentage points in comparison to Week 21.

Among the other stations in Mumbai are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.3 per cent, followed by Akashvani Mumbai (2.4 per cent) and Meow FM (2.3 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 24.6 per cent, gaining 0.1 percentage points in comparison to Week 21. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.7 per cent.

Fever FM and AIR FM Gold occupy the second and third spots in Delhi.

Fever FM has a market share of 18.8 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over last week. AIR FM Gold has a market share of 17.8 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share stands at 17.7 per cent.

Red FM is No. 4 with a market share of 9.6 per cent - which is the same as the last week. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 9.7 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.4 percentage points in comparison to Week 21. Big FM is placed sixth with a market share of 7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points.

Radio One is No. 7 with a market share of 5.7 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share is 5.6 per cent.

Among the other stations in Delhi this week, Meow FM has a market share of 2.9 per cent; followed by Hit FM and AIR FM Rainbow (1.7 per cent each); Vividh Bharati (1 per cent); and Akashvani Delhi (0.6 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 19.5 per cent.

Radio Mirchi and Fever FM occupy the No. 2 and No. 3 spots in the city.

Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.3 per cent, registering a loss of 0.4 percentage points over last week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.6 per cent.

Fever FM has a market share of 15.3 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 15.3 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.4 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.3 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow occupies the No. 5 position and has a market share of 9.6 per cent. The radio station's four weeks' average market share is 9.8 per cent.

Radio One continues to occupy the sixth position in the city with a market share of 8.9 per cent, gaining 0.3 percentage points in comparison to Week 21.

Red FM is placed seventh in the city with a market share of 8.4 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over the previous week.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 22 is Vividh Bharati, with a market share of 4.7 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.8 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.7 per cent) and Akashvani (0.3 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 20.6 per cent, showing a gain of 0.7 percentage points. Its four weeks' average market share stands at 20.3 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM are placed at No. 2 and No. 3 in the city.

Big FM has a market share of 17.5 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 percentage points over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.3 per cent.

Friends FM has a market share of 11.5 per cent with a loss of 0.3 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share is also 11.8 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.8 per cent and a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 10.8 per cent.

Fever FM has maintained last week's fifth position, registering a market share of 8.9 per cent. Its last four weeks' market share turns out to be 8.1 per cent.

Red FM is No. 6 in the city with a market share of 8.7 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 8.2 per cent.

Meow FM is placed seventh with a market share of 5.8 per cent. It is followed by Radio One with a market share of 5.4 per cent.

In Week 22, among the other stations in Kolkata, both AIR FM Rainbow and AIR FM Gold have market shares of 3.3 per cent each. They are followed by Akashvani (2.2 per cent), Power FM (1.5 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.6 per cent).
