RAM Week 24: It's status quo at the top in all four RAM markets

In Delhi, both Vividh Bharati and Hit FM have recorded identical market shares of 1.6 per cent each

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for the four RAM markets for Week 24 is out. Here is an update on the happenings.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points over the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks stands at 17.3 per cent.

The second and third spots in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City.

Red FM has a market share of 14 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share is 14.2 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 3 and has a market share of 13.2 per cent, without registering any loss or gain over the previous week. The last four weeks' average market share for the radio station is 13.2 per cent.

Big FM is fourth in the city with a market share of 11.6 per cent and its last four weeks' market share turns out to be 11.7 per cent.

Air FM Gold occupies the fifth spot with a market share of 11.3 per cent, which is the same as last week.

Fever FM is No. 6 in the city with a market share of 11.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points in comparison to Week 23. Its last four weeks' market share also turns out to be 11.1 per cent.

Radio One is placed seventh with a market share of 6.2 per cent and a loss of 0.4 percentage points. AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 5.7 per cent with a gain of 0.2 percentage points.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 24 are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.6 per cent, followed by Meow FM (2.7 per cent) and Akashvani Mumbai (2.6 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi is No.1 in the city with a market share of 24.9 per cent. Its market share has remained unchanged this week. Radio Mirchi's average market share for the last four weeks is 24.6 per cent.

Fever FM and AIR FM Gold occupy the second and third spots in Delhi.

Fever FM has a market share of 18.9 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over the previous week. AIR FM Gold, placed third, has a market share of 17.5 per cent with a gain of 0.2 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 17.7 per cent.

Red FM is No. 4 with a market share of 9.4 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 9.6 per cent.

Radio City is No. 5 with a market share of 8.7 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points in comparison to Week 23. Big FM occupies the sixth position with a market share of

7.1 per cent.

Radio One is No. 7 with a market share of 5.8 per cent, losing 0.1 percentage points this week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 5.7 per cent.

Among the other stations in Delhi this week are Meow FM, which has a market share of 2.4 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow (1.9 per cent); Vividh Bharati and Hit FM (1.6 per cent each), and Akashvani (0.1 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No.1 in the city with a market share of 19.8 per cent and a gain of 0.3 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 19.6 per cent.

Radio Mirchi and Fever FM occupy the second and third spots in the city.

Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.4 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is also 17.4 per cent.

Fever FM has a market share of 15.4 per cent with a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 15.3 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.4 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points in comparison to Week 23. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.4 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow occupies the fifth position and has a market share of 9.6 per cent, same as the last two weeks. The radio station's four weeks' average market share is 9.6 per cent.

Radio One is placed sixth in the city with a market share of 8.6 per cent and a loss of 0.2 percentage points over last week.

Red FM is placed seventh in the city with a market share of 8.3 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points over the previous week.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 24 is Vividh Bharati with a market share of 4.5 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.5 per cent); Gyan Vani (1 per cent); and Akashvani (0.5 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.6 percentage points. Its four weeks' average market share is 20.3 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM are at No. 2 and No. 3 in the city.

Big FM has a market share of 17.5 per cent, registering a loss of 0.4 percentage points over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.6 per cent.

Friends FM has a market share of 11.6 per cent, gaining 0.4 per cent over Week 23 and its last four weeks' average market share is also 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.8 per cent, registering a loss of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share also turns out to be

10.9 per cent.

Red FM continues to occupy the fifth position with a market share of 8.4 per cent and a gain of 0.2 percentage points.

Fever FM is placed sixth with a market share of 8.2 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 8.4 per cent.

Radio One has maintained last week's seventh position with a market share of 5.8 per cent. It is followed by Meow FM with a market share of 5.6 per cent, which has gained 0.2 percentage points this week.

In Week 24, among the other stations in Kolkata, both AIR FM Rainbow and Gold have registered identical market shares of 3.6 per cent; followed by Akashvani (2.4 per cent); Power FM (1.4 per cent); and Vividh Bharati (0.8 per cent).
