RAM Week 26: Fever FM, AIR FM Gold fight close battle in Mumbai

In Bengaluru, Radio One moves up to occupy the sixth spot

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for the four RAM markets for Week 26 is out. Here is an update.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 17.1 per cent, showing a loss of 0.1 percentage points over the previous week. Its average market share for the last four weeks is

17.2 per cent.

The second and third positions in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City respectively.

Red FM has a market share of 14.1 per cent, same as Week 25 and its last four weeks' average market share is also 14.1 per cent.

Radio City, placed third, has a market share of 13.1 per cent. The last four weeks' average market share for the radio station is 13.2 per cent.

This week, AIR FM Gold has moved up a spot to occupy the fourth place. It has recorded a market share of 11.8 per cent, registering a gain of 0.5 percentage points.

Slipping a spot this week is Big FM with a market share of 11.6 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 11.7 per cent.

Fever FM is placed sixth with a market share of 11.2 per cent. Radio One is placed seventh with a market share of 6.2 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over the previous week. AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 5.5 per cent with a loss of 0.2 percentage points.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 26 are Vividh Bharati, which has a market share of 4.7 per cent, followed by Meow FM (2.5 per cent) and Akashvani Mumbai

(2.2 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 24.9 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.8 per cent.

Fever FM and AIR FM Gold occupy the second and third spots in Delhi.

Fever FM has a market share of 18.5 per cent, without registering any loss or gain over the previous week. AIR FM Gold, placed third, has a market share of 17.6 per cent, same as last week. Its last four weeks' average market share stands at 17.6 per cent.

Red FM is No. 4 with a market share of 9.9 per cent. The station's last four weeks' average market share also turns out to be 9.5 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.1 per cent, showing a loss of 0.3 percentage points in comparison to Week 25. Big FM occupies the sixth position with a market share of

7.2 per cent.

Radio One is No. 7 with a market share of 5.7 per cent, showing a loss of 0.1 percentage points this week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 5.7 per cent.

Among other stations in Delhi this week are Meow FM, which has a market share of

2.5 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow (1.9 per cent); Vividh Bharati (1.6 per cent); Hit FM (1.5 per cent); and Akashvani Delhi (0.5 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.8 per cent, registering a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share is 19.7 per cent.

Radio Mirchi and Fever FM occupy the No. 2 and No. 3 spots in the city.

Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.7 per cent, without registering any gain or loss over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.4 per cent.

Fever FM has a market share of 15.3 per cent, with a gain of 0.1 percentage points. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 15.4 per cent.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.2 percentage points in comparison to Week 25. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.4 per cent.

AIR FM Rainbow occupies the No. 5 position and has a market share of 9.4 per cent. The radio station's four weeks' average market share is 9.6 per cent.

Radio One has moved up a spot and is placed sixth in the city, with a market share of 8.9

per cent and a gain of 0.2 percentage points over Week 25.

Red FM is placed seventh in the city with a market share of 8.6 per cent, registering a gain of 0.2 percentage points over the previous week.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 26 is Vividh Bharati with a market share of 4.4

per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.8 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.7 per cent) and Akashvani (0.4 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi leads in the city with a market share of 20.2 per cent, registering a loss of 0.5 percentage points. Its four weeks' average market share is 20.5 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM are placed at No. 2 and No. 3 in the city.

Big FM has a market share of 17.1 per cent, registering a loss of 0.6 percentage points over the previous week. Its four weeks' average market share is 17.6 per cent.

Friends FM has a market share of 11.2 per cent, gaining 0.5 per cent over Week 25 and its last four weeks' average market share is 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 10.7 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share also turns out to be 10.8 per cent.

This week, Red FM has moved up a spot to occupy the fifth position with a market share of 8.9 per cent, registering a gain of 0.3 percentage points.

Fever FM is placed sixth with a market share of 8.2 per cent and its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 8.5 per cent.

Radio One has a market share of 5.7 per cent. It is followed by Meow FM with a market share of 5.2 per cent, which has gained 0.1 percentage points this week.

In Week 26, among the other stations in Kolkata, both AIR FM Rainbow and AIR FM Gold have registered identical market shares of 3.9 per cent each, followed by Akashvani (2.6 per cent), Power FM (1.6 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.8 per cent).
