Zedo ropes in Sanjay Sinha as senior vice-president

Zedo is a digital advertising solutions provider, which owns an ad network and offers ad serving solutions to online publishers

US-based digital advertising solution provider, Zedo, has hired Sanjay Sinha as senior vice-president. Sinha was earlier with i-Media Corporation Limited (IMCL), the digital arm of Bhaskar group, as general manager, ad sales and marketing. July 22 was his last day at IMCL.

Zedo owns an online ad network (Zedoadnetwork.com); it also offers solutions related to ad serving for online ads, rich media advertising and other formats of digital advertising to publishers, as well as self-service advertising options to marketers.

Confirming his appointment, Sinha says, "I will report to Roy de Souza, chief executive officer and co-founder, Zedo. My role will be to expand and grow the India market of Zedo."

Sinha has about 19 years of work experience across media and telecom. Of that, he has spent about 12 years in the media space. In 1997, he joined Cyber Media group and worked there for eight years in the ad sales function. After that, he worked at IT Nation -- which was acquired by UTV in 2008 -- for two years. He was with the Bhaskar Group for about two years as well. Bhaskar Group owns websites such as Bhaskar.com, DivyaBhaskar.com and IndiaInfo.com.
