RAM Week 30: Fever FM moves up a spot in both Mumbai and Kolkata

In Delhi, both AIR FM Rainbow and Hit FM have managed an identical market share of 1.8 per cent

The Radio Audience Measurement (RAM) data for four RAM markets for Week 30 is out. Here is an update on the four RAM markets.

Mumbai

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city, with a market share of 17.4 per cent, registering an increase of 0.3 percentage point in comparison to last week. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 17.2 per cent.

The second and third spots in the city are occupied by Red FM and Radio City, respectively. Red FM has a market share of 13.8 per cent with a loss of 0.4 percentage point. Its last four weeks' average market share is 14.2 per cent.

Radio City has a market share of 13.6 per cent, with a gain of 0.4 percentage points over Week 29. The last four weeks' average market share for the radio station is 13.2 per cent.

Big FM continues to be the No. 4 player with a market share of 11.5 per cent, losing 0.2 percentage point as compared to last week.

This week, Fever FM has moved up a spot with a market share of 11.1 per cent. AIR FM Gold is sixth with a market share of 11 per cent, registering a loss of 0.5 percentage point over Week 29.

At No. 7, Radio One has a market share of 6.9 per cent, gaining 0.4 percentage point. AIR FM Rainbow follows, with a market share of 5.3 per cent, gaining 0.3 percentage point over last week.

Among the other stations in Mumbai in Week 30, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 4.4 per cent, followed by Akashvani Mumbai (2.8 per cent) and Meow FM (2 per cent).

Delhi

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 25 per cent. Its average market share for the last four weeks is 24.7 per cent. Fever FM and AIR FM Gold occupy second and third spots in Delhi, respectively.

Fever FM has a market share of 18.7 per cent, with a gain of 0.2 percentage point over the previous week. AIR FM Gold has a market share of 17.7 per cent; its last four weeks' average market share stands at 17.6 per cent.

Red FM is at No. 4, with a market share of 9.4 per cent, losing 0.4 percentage point over the previous week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 9.7 per cent.

Radio City is at No. 5 with a market share of 8.3 per cent, losing 0.4 percentage point in comparison to Week 29. Big FM occupies sixth position with a market share of 7.5 per cent.

Radio One is No. 7 with a market share of 5.8 per cent, gaining 0.3 percentage point this week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 5.5 per cent.

Among other stations in Delhi in Week 30, Meow FM has a market share of 2.4 per cent, followed by AIR FM Rainbow and Hit FM (1.8 per cent each), Vividh Bharati (1.5 per cent), and Akashvani Delhi (0.1 per cent).

Bengaluru

Big FM is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 19.6 per cent, but has lost 0.3 percentage point, as compared to Week 29. Its last four weeks' average market share is also 19.6 per cent. Radio Mirchi and Fever FM occupy No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively, in the city.

Radio Mirchi has a market share of 17.9 per cent, registering a gain of 0.6 percentage point over the previous week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 17.7 per cent. Fever FM has a market share of 15.3 per cent, which is identical to its last four weeks' average market share.

Radio City is placed fourth with a market share of 12.4 per cent, while its average market share for the last four weeks is 12.3 per cent. AIR FM Rainbow is at No. 5 and has a market share of 9.5 per cent. The radio station's last four weeks' average market share is 9.4 per cent.

Radio One has maintained its No. 6 position from last week, with a market share of 9 per cent. Red FM is follows, with a market share of 8.2 per cent.

Among others in Bengaluru in Week 30, Vividh Bharati has a market share of 4.7 per cent, followed by Radio Indigo (2.6 per cent), Gyan Vani (0.7 per cent) and Akashvani (0.2 per cent).

Kolkata

Radio Mirchi is No. 1 in the city with a market share of 20.9 per cent and a gain of 0.5 percentage point over previous week. Its last four weeks' average market share is 20.2 per cent.

Big FM and Friends FM are at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.

Big FM has a market share of 17.6 per cent; its last four weeks' average market share is 17.5 per cent. Friends FM has a market share of 11.2 per cent, losing 0.6 percentage point compared to Week 29. Its last four weeks' average market share is 11.5 per cent.

Aamar FM is at No. 4 with a market share of 11.6 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share is 10.7 per cent.

Fever FM has moved up to No. 5 with a market share of 8.4 per cent, without registering any loss or gain over the previous week.

Red FM is next with a market share of 8.2 per cent. Its last four weeks' average market share turns out to be 8.9 per cent.

Radio One occupies seventh position with a market share of 6.1 per cent, gaining 0.6 percentage point over last week. It is followed by Meow FM, which has garnered a market share of 5.1 per cent.

In Week 30, among the other stations in Kolkata, AIR FM Rainbow has a market share of 3.8 per cent, followed by AIR FM Gold (3.6 per cent), Akashvani (2.4 per cent), Power FM (1.5 per cent) and Vividh Bharati (0.6 per cent).
