The digital agency has bagged the mandate to recreate and manage the official website of the Commonwealth Games 2010. Apart from this, it will also take care of social media marketing of CWG
Hungama Digital has won the online presence rights of Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2010.
The spokesperson further adds, "We have already revamped the site. The website will be used to disseminate news, game details and schedules of matches that will take place during the CWG. Content related to scores of matches, medal tally and players' details will also be there. There will be a blog on the site, which will be authored by a virtual character, the mascot of the CWG named Shera. Videos will also be uploaded on the website."
Prominent social media properties such as Facebook, Twitter and Orkut will be used aggressively to spread information related to CWG. However, the spokesperson declined to reveal the exact plans of using social media.
