Mogae appoints Rahul Kishore as senior VP, priority projects

Kishore, who was earlier with VivaKi Exchange, will be responsible for monetising key projects for Mogae.

Mogae Media has appointed Rahul Kishore as senior vice-president, priority projects. He will be responsible for monetising key projects for Mogae and will report to Gaurav Luthra, chief business officer of the company.

Earlier, Kishore was senior vice-president at VivaKi Exchange, where he was responsible for new businesses and alliances. Commenting on his new role, Kishore says, "Mobile has great opportunity and as it's still a fairly new medium, my role at Mogae also involves educating and evangelizing about the medium. I am happy to be at the forefront of a 'new' medium that reaches 800 million consumers in India."

Kishore, who has more than 23 years of experience, has been a career entrepreneur and operated his business for about 20 years. An alumnus of St Stephen's College, Delhi, Kishore was responsible for purposive evaluation of media. He has also worked as business head and editorial advisor at the Exchange4media group.

Tanya Goyal, executive director, Mogae Media, says, "Kishore is being tasked to look at large opportunity blocks that can benefit from mobile as a medium. We hope he will be able to open up new vistas of opportunity for the company."

Mogae Media is the new venture launched by ad-man Sandeep Goyal. It is the sole and exclusive partner of Airtel for marketing its entire advertising inventory, which includes mobile-couponing, mobile-deals and mobile value-adds.
