Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to afaqs!, though Nambiar was unavailable for comment. He is currently serving his notice period at MEC Interaction and is expected to take up his next assignment in the first week of April.

Nambiar joined MEC Interaction in 2010 as senior business director and was responsible for business development and strategy.

After obtaining a post graduate degree in advertising and public relations from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Nambiar started his career as a graphics designer with Studio Smile. In a career spanning more than 11 years, he has also worked at Mindshare (2005-07) as business manager and manager.

In 2007, he joined BPG - The Big Idea as business director, digital. During his stint at BPG (November 2007 to March 2010), he headed the digital division of the agency and was also responsible for revenue generation through AOR, external and BPG clients in the United Arab Emirates. Subsequently, he joined MEC Interaction.
