From Here On Communications has won the creative duties for Y2CF Digital Media-promoted location-based check-in service, Hoppr. The agency won the business following a multi-agency pitch which also involved three other agencies in Delhi.

According to industry estimates, the size of the business is said to be in the range of Rs 15-20 crore.

Confirming the news to afaqs!, Mohammad Imthiaz, founder and chief executive officer, Y2CF, says, "We were looking for a partner who has deep understanding of the mobile service brand. Rajesh Aggarwal and Gullu Sen, being veterans in the industry, were able to depict a vision for the brand."

The company has not appointed a media agency and is currently working with From Here On Communications. To start with, it plans to launch a series of below-the-line communication soon.

For the record, Hoppr is a location-based check-in service that works across all mobile devices; it was launched recently by Y2CF Digital Media. The service allows consumers to explore rewards and offers available with brands in their locality. Soon, the company plans to launch an application for all mobile devices. Interestingly, Y2CF is said to be the debut venture of Bharti Soft Bank (BSB) - a mobile internet joint venture between Sunil Bharti Mittal-promoted Bharti Enterprises and Japan's SoftBank Corp.
