Vizeum India acquires media duties of Veev

The Chennai-based premium leather goods brand will focus on the digital platform and experiential marketing.

Aegis Media's Vizeum will handle the media duties for Veev, a premium leather goods brand promoted by Chennai-based Srivathsa Industries. The win comes close on the heels of Vizeum's win of the Bloomberg UTV account.

Veev offers specially designed premium leather goods across the globe. The company plans to expand its retail presence in the country. The agency will help the brand establish its foothold in the retail market.

In an official communiqué, Prakash Venkatesan, CEO, Veev, says, "We partnered with Vizeum as we plan to focus on building our retail presence. We had strong referrals of Vizeum. We look forward to working with the agency."

It is learnt that instead of conventional media, the agency plans to focus more on digital, below the line and experiential marketing for the brand.

S Yesudas, managing director, Indian subcontinent, Vizeum, says, "We will try to use more activations so as to touch base with the customers. This business will be handled by our Chennai Office."

For the record, Vizeum operates in 55 countries with a philosophy of in-depth understanding of the co existence of lives, brands and media in the actual world, through its process, motivation to media.
