Nestle retains ZenithOptimedia for media duties

After reviewing other agencies, Nestle has decided to continue with ZenithOptimedia to carry out its media duties.

Nestle, one of the leading global FMCG giants, has decided to continue its relationship with ZenithOptimedia for its media duties.


The media duties for Nestle India - the size of which is estimated at a few hundred crore rupees - was under review.

ZenithOptimedia has been handling the Nestle business since 2005, when it bagged it from Universal McCann - the agency which later merged with Lodestar Universal.

Nestle India is a subsidiary of Nestle S.A., Switzerland and began its operations in India in 1912. The global company was founded in 1866. Some of the brands under its wings include Maggi, Pazzta, Maggi healthy soup, Maggi magic cubes, Maggi coconut milk powder, Nescafe Sunrise, Neslac, Nestle junior daheez, Kitkat, Munch, BarOne, Milkybar, Eclairs and Polo. It has seven factories spread across India and a wide network of co-packers. In 2010, the parent company set up its first research and development centre in India at Manesar, Haryana.
