Mohit Hira joins JWT as SVP and regional business director

Hira comes with 26 years of experience in advertising, marketing, print and digital media. He moved on from being a creative director to a netvangelist.

Hira moves in from NIIT, where he was president, B2C global online learning business, www.training.com. In addition, he was also chief marketing officer for NIIIT's retail individual training businesses and the recently-launched NIIT University.

In the past, he has worked with The Times of India Group, where he started as vice-president for brands such as The Economic Times and Navbharat Times. Later, he took up responsibility at Times Internet as director, marketing.

Before moving to the media side, he was with Contract Advertising (Kolkata and Delhi) and DDB Needham (Oman), where he had creative, account planning and business responsibilities.
