HT Media Group has entered into the education sector in partnership with Apollo Global Inc., the largest for-profit college in the US, with the launch of a business school that targets the corporate sector. The two have formed an equal partnership joint venture (JV) titled India Education Services. The JV's flagship institution is called Bridge School of Management, currently at a concept stage.
The courses offered in the B-school will be of 11 months duration and will focus on industry relevant content, with the option of functional and sectoral specialisation. The content and curriculum offered at the college will be co-created by industry professionals along with dedicated academia to address the needs of the industry based on inputs from leading organisations and industry stalwarts. The programmes will incorporate latest industry trends, best practices and will try and fill in the skill gaps in the current workforce.
The programmes will focus on practical learning via live projects and case studies, simulations on real life corporate situations and guest lectures by experienced senior industry leaders to enhance the applied skills of employees. Bridge School of Management will also offer online courses.
