Taking its property show and the weekend edition 'Property, Its Hot' forward, NDTV has taken its property information content online by launching an official website, NDTV Property (http://sites.ndtv.com/property). The company claims that it is India's singular online portal where buyers and investors will have the ease to navigate through the most researched and insightful content on real estate in the country.
To bridge the gap between the buyer and the builder communities, NDTV has also introduced a special section called 'Rate Your Developer' where buyers can give feedback on their developers through a simple survey.
The site also provides residential projects recommended on the basis of exhaustive research done by a team of on ground researchers. The experts' recommendations are placed city-wise and are in all budgets and sizes across 24 cities in the country. However, the company has not started listing any real estate project on the website as yet.
Though the site doesn't support property listings, it will see some kind of competition from all the property portals as most of these portals carry information and content related to the real estate industry in India.
Vikram Chandra, group CEO, NDTV Network, states, "We have received extremely positive feedback from our viewers on our Property Show. With the introduction of the official website, we now hope to be able to provide our viewers with assistance on every aspect of the industry round the clock."
NDTV has been on a launching spree on the online space. In July 2013, the company launched its e-commerce platform, Indianroots.com, offering ethnic wear, for which the network had signed Ogilvy as its creative partner.
NDTV was founded in 1988 and operates both news and lifestyle channels that include NDTV 24x7, NDTV Profit, NDTV India, and NDTV Good Times. On digital, the group operates NDTV.com as the flagship portal with sections like Business, Movies, Cricket, Good Times, Recipes and Tech.
