Kunal Lalani elected as Delhi Advertising Club's president

The position was earlier held by Naresh Khetrapal, CEO, Span Communications.

Kunal Lalani, a veteran advertising professional and head of Crayons Advertising, has been elected as president, Delhi Advertising Club (DAC) for 2015-16. The position was earlier held by Naresh Khetrapal, CEO, Span Communications.

Other notable members who were elected as members of executive committee of the club include Deepak Hiramath of Vermilion Advertising, T Sriram Gopal of Alaknanda Advertising, Vivek Srivastava of Innocean Advertising and Ranjan Khanna of Chiranjan Advertising.

Conveying his pleasure on being unanimously voted as the president of DAC, Lalani says, "Being selected as the president, I will take the necessary steps to safeguard the interests of our community members and will devise ways to nurture and retain talent in our industry."

Lalani set up his own venture, Crayons Advertising, in 1986, which is one of the leading independent advertising agencies in India. He has also diversified in a variety of different businesses including hospitality, aviation, banking, auto, marine components, PVC and luxury automobiles.

The Delhi Advertising Club has 281 life and 228 ordinary members. These members are senior executives from leading companies, advertising agencies and media, including print, electronic, outdoor agencies and PR houses. The club has been functioning regularly since 1969.
