Navin Kansal quits Grey India

He had joined Grey in 2010 from OgilvyOne.

Navin Kansal, executive creative director, digital, at Grey Group India has put in his papers. Kansal is serving his notice period and will be with Grey Group till the end of June. His next move, however, is not known yet.

Kansal had joined Grey as senior creative director, Grey Digital, in December 2010. Under his leadership, the digital team won new businesses over the years. Currently, Grey Digital handles brands such as Volkswagen, Cadbury, Birla Sunlife, ICICI Bank, Go Air, ITC, Star Network, Sony LIV and Adobe, among others.

Before joining Grey, he was creative director, OgilvyOne, the digital and direct marketing arm of the Ogilvy network. Kansal has more than 17 years of work experience, working on brands such as Perfetti Van Melle, Cadbury, Vodafone, The Economist, Tata Safari, Lipton, Dove and Vaseline. He has spent about nine years at OgilvyOne. Prior to Ogilvy, Kansal worked with Urja Communications as a copywriter for about a year and Oberoi Multimedia as assistant director for about two and a half years. He has also worked with Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and Educational Media Research Centre in Pune.

Over the years, Kansal has received several awards including Spikes Asia, Adfest Asia, PMA-Asia, ECHO Awards, Yahoo! Big Idea Chair, Effies, IDMA, DMA India, DMA Asia, Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards, Goafest (Abbys) and Outdoor Advertising Awards. His award-winning work includes #Anything4Jetta - the world's largest Twitter campaign ever in a single country. During his tenure, Grey won the 'Digital & Social Agency of the Year' honour at the Indian Digital Media Awards 2014.
